Brother Herbert Guary Johnson

 -1922-

A master's job is never done, it lives on through the ages.

The new officers for 1922 were installed on January 20, 1922. In February 5 members of Clovis Lodge were designated to solicit funds to be donated to the University of Berkeley for the building of a Masonic Club Room on the campus. The next month Clovis Lodge gladly donated $41.50 which was quite a donation for the time.

The summer of 1922 was the first time the Lodge went "Dark" in the summer months. There were no meetings held in July and August, the two hottest months. But by the accounts of the minutes they were thoroughly busy with degrees for the entire year.

1922 ended much as it started, with the Lodge being busy taking in new members and quietly going on about its work. Brother Johnson would later become the second Secretary of Clovis Lodge.
